Community Service
Contributing to local communities is a vital part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Our goal is to conduct business activities in harmony with the regions where we operate. We foster strong communication and play an active role in regional development.
Engagement with the Local Communities
Our objective is to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders through listening to the voices of local residents and operating our business in a way that is deeply rooted in the community. As part of our commitment to these communities, we make donations to hospitals and shrines, and implement regular cleanup in the neighborhood, including weeding and tree pruning.

Diversity
We are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace. Our initiatives include promoting female leadership, embracing team diversity by including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and people of various nationalities. We are committed to providing equal opportunities, eliminating disparities in employment conditions, and ensuring equal pay for equal work. As a global supplier of automotive parts, we remain committed to upholding human rights and fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce through our responsible human rights management practices.
Empowerment of Female Employees
As of April 2024, women represented 20% of our workforce, with 3.1% serving in managerial roles, such as assistant managers and team leaders. While the industry's traditionally male-dominated workforce, we are actively working to build a more female-friendly workplace by improving support measures and providing flexible work arrangements. We remain committed to promoting women's employment and their advancement into managerial roles.
Empowerment of Elder Employees
In response to the "Act on Stabilization of Employment of Elderly Persons," amended in 2004, we have established the "Regulations for Continuous Employment of Elderly Persons." We provide continuous employment opportunities for all employees who wish to remain employed until age 65. As of April 2024, the percentage of employees aged 60-69 is 7.44%.
Empowerment of Employees with Disabilities
We are also promoting the employment of people with disabilities in the manufacturing departments. The figure below illustrates the employment rate of employees with disabilities over the past three years. As of FY 2023, our workforce included 23 employees with disabilities, representing 2.45% of the total.
When hiring individuals with disabilities, we first conduct training at the plant where they will be working, followed by careful interviews regarding working hours and their job duties. We recruit employees under conditions that promote comfort and provide a work environment where each individual can maximize their potential.
Foreign Technical Intern Trainees
We accept foreign technical intern trainees from countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. In light of the observed higher rate of workplace accidents among foreign employees compared to Japanese employees, we are committed to fostering a safe and secure work environment for foreign technical intern trainees. To this end, work procedures and facility notices are translated into multiple languages. Comprehensive safety education is also provided to ensure that internal rules and work procedures are understood and followed at the same level as Japanese employees. All instructors at trainee-accepting plants are required to complete a designated "Instruction Course" to enhance their understanding of trainer-trainee interaction, relevant laws and regulations, and effective instruction methods.
